New & Used Tires· Toronto & the GTA
Tire beyond repair?New or quality used, sourced in your size and installed at your door.

GoldenNorth sources new and quality used tires and installs them at your location anywhere in Toronto and the GTA: no hauling rims to a shop, no waiting room. Touring, all-season, winter, and all-terrain options in the sizes most common on GTA roads, from compact sedans to full-size pickups, at a fair, upfront price quoted on the call, without chain-store upsell pressure.
Every tire carries its birth date moulded into the sidewall: the last four digits of the DOT code read week and year, so 3523 means the 35th week of 2023. We check it on every tire we source, because rubber ages even sitting in storage: a decade-old tire with generous tread is still past its safe working life. It's exactly the detail a parking-lot private sale never mentions, and one of the strongest reasons to buy a used tire from someone who inspects them for a living.

New & Used Tires questions, answered.
Are used tires safe? How do you inspect them?
We only sell used tires with at least 4/32" of tread remaining, no sidewall bubbles, no visible cord damage, and no plugged punctures in the shoulder zone. Each tire is inspected before it leaves with us.
Can I buy just one tire instead of a full set?
Absolutely. Matching a single damaged tire is one of the most common used-tire calls we get. We pick a tire whose tread depth sits close to your other three so the rolling diameters agree; on all-wheel-drive vehicles we measure your remaining tread first, because a mismatched corner can stress the drivetrain.
Should I buy new or used?
Used makes sense when you're matching a single damaged tire or the vehicle is near end of life. New is the better buy for a full set you'll run for years. We sell both, so you get an honest recommendation either way.
How do I find my tire size?
It's printed on the sidewall and on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb, a code like 225/65R17. Tell us that code when you call and we'll confirm availability, usually within 24 hours for less common sizes.
