What does a load test actually tell you?
It measures how much cranking power the battery delivers under load, the thing that matters on a -18°C morning. A voltage reading alone can look fine on a battery that's about to quit; a load test can't be fooled.
My battery keeps dying overnight. Is that the battery?
Not always. It can be a parasitic drain (a module or light staying awake) or an alternator that isn't charging. We test all three so you fix the actual cause instead of replacing batteries repeatedly.
